Research : Features Of Music Videos

 

In the task we were asked to do, we needed to look at music videos of three different genres and find the key features within them that were consistent or different in all of music videos. We then jotted down what we found for each genre.

1. Emphasis on varying mise-en scene.
2. Close up of lead singer.
3. Editing in sync with the high points of the song.
4. Variation with angles incorporated.
5. Background variation.
6. Common theme in the song.
